Large Hotel Under Construction In Shorewood

SHOREWOOD, IL - Several thousand motorists who travel daily along the Interstate 55 corridor have surely noticed the new multi-story building under construction along the frontage road in Shorewood. If you thought it looks like a hotel, you're right. The new development along the Northeast Frontage Road, adjacent to the Econo Lodge property, will be a La Quinta Inns & Suites.

The hotel is in close proximity to I-55 and West Jefferson Street.

Representatives for Shorewood told Patch this week that the new hotel will have between 80 and 90 rooms. If the project remains on schedule, the Shorewood La Quinta could open later this year.
