Revenge Porn Charges Filed Against Morris Man By Shorewood PD
Shorewood Police say that 27-year-old Dakota Lenzie disseminated private sexual images of a young woman in Shorewood without her consent.

SHOREWOOD, IL — The Will County State's Attorney's Office of Jim Glasgow has filed felony charges against a man from Morris who is accused of committing an act of revenge porn against a young woman in Shorewood. Dakota Lenzie, who lives on West Southmor Road in Morris, faces charges of non-consensual dissemination of private sexual images.
The charges resulted from a Shorewood Police Department investigation.
According to the criminal complaint, Lenzie, who turns 28 next month, intentionally disseminated sexual images on May 7 of a young woman who is at least 18, "in which a reasonable person would know or understand that the image was to remain private and should have known that the person in the image has not consented to the dissemination ... posting of said image on Snapchat story."

Will County Judge Daniel Kennedy has issued a warrant for the Morris man's arrest man, setting bail at $15,000.
In the summer of 2019, the Will County Sheriff's Office arrested Lenzie on charges involving of possessing controlled substances and possession of 10 to 30 grams of ketamine. Lenzie's bail was set at $200,000 in that case. Within two days of his arrest, Lenzie was released on June 8, 2019, after posting 10 percent.
