Shorewood Gets Shoot Point Blank Facility

SHOREWOOD, IL - There are a remarkable number of commercial construction projects already underway this year in Shorewood. The new Casa Maya Mexican Restaurant will open at Route 59 and U.S. 52. The Learning Experience is being built near The Home Depot. The La Quinta Inns and Suites is under construction at the Northeast Frontage Road facing I-55. And right next door to the La Quinta project is the Shoot Point Blank business.

Shoot Point Blank also has large signs posted along the frontage road alerting passerby motorists that the new Shorewood business is now hiring. Potential applicants can learn more on the business' website.

Shoot Point Blank is expected to open in the coming months. Shoot Point Blank is an indoor shooting range and gun center.

The company's website includes the following message: "It is our goal to make sure every Shoot Point Blank customer feels more confident about their firearm knowledge and handling when they leave our stores … If you're going to own a firearm, be responsible and take full ownership of how to fire, clean and store it. We can't stress how important this is to us and hopefully to you."

According to the Shoot Point Blank website, there are currently 2o locations across the country - and the company is growing. Other existing locations in Illinois are in Naperville, Mokena and in Hodgkins.
