Shorewood Sees Inflatable Rat At Black Road Project
Union workers tell Joliet Patch they plan to continue picketing this project for at least two more weeks.

SHOREWOOD, IL - During the past week, an inflatable rat has been hovering over a commercial construction project along Black Road near one of the outlots by the Home Depot. Patch has previously reported the construction is for an early childhood learning facility called The Learning Experience. Not everybody is happy about this project.
It's become a site of controversy. On Friday, Joliet Patch visited the site and met with a couple of the men who were picketing.
One of their signs proclaims: "Brahma Masonry Whose Employees Work At This Location Operates Under Substandard Wages And Conditions … No dispute with any other employer."
