Shorewood Traffic Lights Out At 2 Major Intersections
Shorewood's Police Department advises motorists to avoid both of these intersections on Tuesday.

SHOREWOOD, IL — Monday afternoon's powerful winds knocked out electricity in many areas of Will County and two of Shorewood's busy intersections still don't have working stop lights 24 hour later, police announced.
Around 3 p.m. Tuesday, the Shorewood Police Department issued a bulletin on social media advising people to stay away from the intersection of Black Road and Route 59 and also the three-way intersection of Bronk and Black Roads near Hammel Woods.
"Find alternate routes to avoid delays," Shorewood's Police Department announced.
