SHOREWOOD, IL — To help prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, the Shorewood Area Chamber of Commerce announced on Tuesday that it has canceled the Shorewood Crossroads Festival set for Aug. 7-9.

"We will miss seeing you at Cene's Four Seasons Park this year, and look forward to an even better celebration in 2021," Shorewood Chamber president Carol Wagner wrote. " Make sure to check out our fest website www.crossroadsfest.com for updates. We will be in contact with all vendors and sponsors who have already committed to support Crossroads Fest over the next few days."

Wagner also wanted people to know that The First Swing Golf Outing has been rescheduled for Friday, Sept. 18 at Joliet's Wedgewood Golf Club near Route 59 and Caton Farm Road. She said that a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the YMCA Summer Camp Program. For more information regarding the golf outing, click here.
