Shorewood's LaQuinta Hotel Finally Nears Home Stretch

SHOREWOOD, IL — If you have driven along Interstate 55, you've noticed the La Quinta Inn & Suites being built near the exit for West Jefferson Street - during the past few years. The construction project, at times, goes months without work, then it picks back up again. Now, for the first time ever, a large La Quinta advertising sign has been erected.

On Monday, Patch interviewed village of Shorewood Buillding Official John Komorowski. He told Patch that the construction for the La Quinta has been picking up as of late. The village now anticipates the hotel will get completed in late spring, or by early summer, at the latest.

The new La Quinta development is along the Northeast Frontage Road, adjacent to the Econo Lodge property.
