Trinity Christian School Students Serve Others.
Trinity students in kindergarten through eighth grade bless their community by serving with love.
One month ago classes at Trinity Christian School were in session and students were focused on Spiritual Emphasis Week. During this week, each school day includes chapel with messages from local pastors, prayer and community service projects.
Trinity students served their community in a variety of ways. Kindergarten through second grade classes partnered with the Military Mama Network to send supplies and cards to our troops.
Trinity third graders held a food drive to supply the Shorewood Library Food Pantry and wrote cards of love and encouragement to families using this service.

The fourth graders held a story hour reading to younger students.
Trinity’s fifth through eighth grade students went to Feed My Starving Children and packed 45,360 meals to send to hungry children around the world.

A few weeks later in the midst of a global pandemic their service is blessing people who are utilizing food pantries, our service men and woman are receiving encouragement and supplies and children around the world are receiving meals.
In the current climate of Illinois students learning at home and e-learning, we better understand the value of older students reading to younger students and helping with schoolwork.
