Troy Online Musical, "A Year With Frog And Toad," Premiers Friday

The fun play may be viewed by families at home April 9-11

Families will be able to enjoy Troy Middle School’s spring musical online this year.

“A Year with Frog and Toad, A Story about Friendship,” will be streamed live this year on April 9 at 7 p.m. and will continue to stream through Sunday, April 11 at midnight.

Tickets are $20 per household and may be purchased at tmsevents.org. Donations are also being accepted at the website for the theatre.

As Troy schools continue to educate the whole student throughout this Covid-19 school year, the performing arts are as important as ever.

Tammie Herrejon, Troy Middle School theatre teacher and TMS musical director, said the students are excited to share their first online theatre event with the public and have been working hard to bring the story to life for a virtual audience. She said viewers will be impressed by their tremendous talent.

Other musical directors are Kelsey Robb, Shari Pagel, Ann Provencher and Kaylie Davis. Troy Middle School is a Troy Community School District 30-C school.
