When and how did your business get started?

Best Vac was founded in 1977 originally as a Rug Doctor rental store. Sometime in 1983 a customer brought their vacuum in and asked if we could repair it. Best Vac was born. Now our primary business is selling, quality, new vacuums not offered at big box stores.  

What is your business best known for?

We have been selling the American made Riccar vacuums and German made Miele vacuums for over 25 years. Built have built our business by partnering with these two companies.

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?

Less than 7% of all vacuums sold in the U.S. are made in the U.S. There are no American made vacuums sold at any big box store. We not only sell American made Riccar and Maytag vacuums we also sell American made M.D. central vacuums. We also sell a full line of cleaning products made right here in Illinois.

Why did you choose the town you did to open your business?

We knew St. Charles residents would appreciate and support a business that sells quality products and provides service to support that product.
