ST. CHARLES, IL — Hundreds of people can get coronavirus vaccine Friday at the Meijer store in St. Charles, which has 400 doses available to anyone who needs their first shot.
Providers will be administering doses until 5 p.m. Friday, and no appointments are required to receive a vaccine Friday at the Meijer store, 855 S. Randall Road. Officials are encouraging residents to take advantage of the store’s surplus if they have not yet received a vaccine.

All Illinois residents age 16 and older are now eligible to receive a coronavirus vaccine. Pfizer’s vaccine is the only one approved for use in the U.S. for 16- and 17-year-olds.
Residents can make an appointment for future clinics at Meijer by visiting clinic.meijer.com or texting COVID to 75049 to receive a link to register.
