Happy Mother's Day To Brandi Murphy
"Brandi, you are one AWESOME mom and I couldn't be more proud of you. Those are four lucky little boys."

In celebration of Mother's Day on Sunday May 12, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their mother and let us deliver it. This is Christine Pfeifer's letter to her daughter:
My mom was the best mom a person could ask for, but on this Mother’s Day I would like to honor the mother of my grandsons. This awesome mom is my daughter, Brandi Murphy. She has four little boys who think she’s the best. Six-year-old Tommy and 4-year-old triplets Jimmy, Jonny and Timmy keep their mom on the move and she doesn’t miss a beat. These little guys invented the word “active.” At a very young age, they figured out that if they went in different directions, she couldn’t possibly catch all of them, but she still gives it her best try.
Brandi doesn’t hesitate to plan play dates, trips to the zoo, a restaurant or the library — all with four little boys in tow! While some people might find it easier to just stay home, Brandi and the boys are always out on some adventure.

Brandi has an abundance of energy. Like all moms, she’s going, going, going from sun up to sundown and then some. She has two washing machines and two dryers going every day trying to keep up with the laundry for a busy family of six. Her husband works two full-time jobs to support the family, so quite often Brandi is on her own. These are two parents with a lot on their plates, but they’re getting it done.
When Brandi and the kids are out and about somewhere, she is always stopped by some inquisitive person asking “are all those boys yours?” or “are those triplets?” They all look at her in amazement and wonder how she does it and still looks calm, cool and collected.

I’ve watched her do some amazing things in her days as a mom.
Having a 2-year-old and giving birth to triplets didn’t even faze her. She had many sleepless nights feeding three newborns. By the time she got to the third one, it was almost time to start again with the first one. She made all her own baby food. I can’t even imagine how many baby bottles she made or how many diapers she has changed. She jogs behind a stroller for four with every seat taken by a little Murphy boy. Even when the triplets were tiny babies, she took all four kids to the grocery store. One cart was filled with Tommy and three infant carriers and she pulled an extra cart behind her for the groceries. WOW.
Brandi, you are one AWESOME mom and I couldn’t be more proud of you. Those are four lucky little boys.
Love, Mom
