Attempted Murder Charge: Man Accused Of Stabbing Victim In Neck

Police arrested 66-year-old Randy L. Wilson after officials said he stabbed a man during a dispute outside an apartment building.

ST. CHARLES, IL — A 66-year-old St. Charles man is charged with attempted murder after police said he stabbed a man in the neck with a knife.

Police arrested Randy L. Wilson in connection with Saturday's stabbing on the 1400 block of South 14th Street.

Wilson is accused of stabbing a 38-year-old man in the neck after an argument outside of an apartment building. According to police, Wilson went inside his home during the dispute and came back with a knife which he used to stab the other man.

The younger man was taken to a local hospital where he is in stable condition. Wilson is facing charges of attempted murder and aggravated battery. He is currently being held at the Kane County Jail.
