Norix Furniture Company Delivers $1200 in Meal Gift Cards to CDH

The battle against COVID-19 often takes a tremendous toll on our front-line healthcare workers, and employees of Norix Furniture in West Chicago chose to allocate money from the Norix Gives program to support both our healthcare heroes and local restaurants.

“It’s a small way to thank the doctors, nurses and other front-line healthcare workers for their dedication and commitment,” said Paige Kingsley, Norix Furniture. “We also have a chance to bolster the local economy by supporting our local restaurants, many of whom are suffering during these challenging times.”

The cards, which included a thank-you note from Norix employees, were delivered to Central DuPage Hospital and were purchased from local restaurants including Gnarly Knots, Charlie Fox’s Pizza, Limestone Coffee & Tea, Riverside Pizza & Pub, Moveable Feast, Niche, Sergio’s Cantina and La Zaza Trattoria.

“It’s a small token of appreciation, but it carries with it all our support and gratitude for our healthcare heroes,” said Kingsley.
