Paczki Day 2021: Where To Find Paczki Near St. Charles

ST. CHARLES, IL — Fat Tuesday comes but once a year, and with it the promise of those deep-fried Polish confections that many find as hard to resist as they are to pronounce: paczki.

The beloved donut-like treats will be available in the St. Charles area on Paczki Day 2021, which falls on Tuesday, Feb. 16.

Some bakeries require paczki pre-orders before Fat Tuesday and others will have a limited amount of paczki on Feb. 16. Here's a roundup of where you can buy paczki in the area.

Country Donuts
3901 U.S. Highway 20, #101, Elgin

Country Donuts will be serving up paczkis on Monday and Tuesday, so be sure to take advantage of the bakery’s 24-hour drive-thru. Country Donuts will be offering paczkis in more than a dozen flavors. Call 847-488-1900 to place a pre-order.

Heidi's Cake & Pastry
1469 E. State. St., Geneva

Customers can place paczki pre-orders at Heidi’s Cake & Pastry by calling 630-232-1430. The Geneva bakery is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

Dimple's Donuts
328 E. Wilson St., Batavia

Dimple’s Donuts is another area favorite on Paczki Day. Place a pre-order by calling 630-406-0303 or stop by the Batavia bakery between 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. The bakery is open until 3 p.m. on weekends.

Harner's Bakery
10 W. State St., North Aurora

Harner’s Bakery is an annual pilgrimage for many residents in the Aurora area. The bakery usually only has paczkis on Paczki Day, so be sure to call ahead or stop in on Fat Tuesday to get your treats.

Ciambella Bakery
2198 Ogden Ave., Aurora

Ciambella Bakery will open bright and early at 6 a.m. on Fat Tuesday to start serving up paczki, but it is no longer taking pre-orders.

DeEtta's Bakery
428 W. 5th Ave., Naperville

DeEtta's is taking pre-orders of six or more paczki until Feb. 13, but they also plan to have plenty of paczki in store on Paczki Day. Flavors include cheese, custard and strawberry with whipped cream.

My Sister's Lil' Donut Shoppe
25 S. Madison St., Oswego

My Sister's Lil' Donut Shoppe in Oswego is taking pre-orders for Fat Tuesday, offering customers several flavors: strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, apple and Bavarian. Place an order by calling the bakery at 331-203-2736. Open 6:30 a.m to noon Monday through Saturday.
