​St. Charles Fine Art Show Returns Memorial Day Weekend

From Downtown St. Charles Partnership: The Downtown St. Charles Partnership presents the 19th Annual St. Charles Fine Art Show on Memorial Day Weekend next Saturday, May 27 from 10am-6pm and Sunday, May 28 from 10am-5pm. Sponsored by STC Capital Bank, this award winning show features the work of over 100 juried artists in disciplines such as painting, sculpture, photography, glass, wood, jewelry and other media, all of which draw thousands to downtown St. Charles to view and purchase artwork from across the entire United States and beyond.

This show also welcomes art buyers and art supporters to join the Patron Program by making a minimum dollar commitment to buy art at the show. There will be live musical entertainment throughout the show, sponsored by BMO Harris Bank, which will be located in the BMO Harris lot. Drew Clausen, Paul & Jay Rock Duo, The Jack Macklin Trio, Alex Murphy Jazz Duo, Patchouli & Terra Guitarra and TrioLife Modern Musical Ambience are all scheduled to perform at the show, along with the Soldiers of Swing playing on the First Street Plaza Saturday afternoon.

The Feature Tent, Sponsored by DaySpring Pediatric Dentistry, featuring All Things Art Studio, will feature multiple art activities for children and adults.

Rest your feet and ride the downtown Historic Trolley Tour, sponsored by Gerald Kia, which will run from 11:00 to 5:00 on both Saturday and Sunday. Docents will narrate during this free 45-minute tour, highlighting many historic homes and building along the tour.
