Volunteers Needed for Thanksgiving Feast for the Needy

St. Charles Episcopal Church is looking for volunteers to help serve a Thanksgiving Feast in Aurora on Nov. 24.

St. Charles Episcopal Church is looking for volunteers to help serve a Thanksgiving Feast to people in need who attend the Soup Kitchen at Trinity Episcopal Church in Aurora on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24th.

St. Charles Episcopal Church will serve lunch to about 150 people who would otherwise go hungry that day. To make an elegant and special experience for the guests who will enjoy the traditional Thanksgiving Day feast, the meal is served restaurant-style, so many more hands are required. Anyone who can help setup, serve, or cleanup from 10a.m. to 3p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, please call Lisel Ulaszek at (847) 372-5153 or via email at lisel@ulaszek.com.

Volunteers can signup for all or part of the day. First shift will drive in caravan from St. Charles Episcopal Church to Trinity Church Aurora, leaving at 9:30am. Servers would need to be at Trinity Church by 12:00pm, and those cleaning up would start at 1:15pm.

Trinity Soup Kitchen is located at 218 E. Benton in Aurora. St. Charles Episcopal Church is located at 994 N. 5th Avenue (Route 25) in St. Charles, and offers three Sunday morning services. For more information, visit http://www.stcharlesepiscopal.org
