ST. CHARLES, IL — A sign at Randall Road and Route 38 in St. Charles is a message for those anticipating the opening of New Kids on the Block founding member Donnie Wahlberg and his brothers' new Wahlburgers spot — one of many locations they've put up since the Massachusetts-based chain was founded in 2011. According to the Daily Herald, the sign for the new burger concept restaurant and full-service bar at 825 S. Randall Road reads "Wahlburgers coming soon" and "Not Donnie Soon." The news report said the St. Charles location is expected to begin operating by early April, according to a Wahlburgers corporate representative.

The St. Charles location will be Illinois' second Wahlburgers spot.

In March 2019, St. Charles Mayor Raymond Rogina and Donnie Wahlberg broke ground at the new Wahlburgers spot in the southwest corner of Route 38 and Randall Road in the Meijer lot, according to a release.
