Woman, 88, Killed In Hit-And-Run Friday; Police Search For Driver

St. Charles police are trying to locate a man they say hit and killed an 88-year-old Chicago woman crossing the street in her wheelchair.

ST. CHARLES, IL — An 88-year-old Chicago woman was struck and killed Friday while crossing North Third Street in St. Charles with her son, according to police.

Police are now searching for the driver who hit her and didn’t stop after hitting the woman, who was in a wheelchair. Police described the driver as a white male with a black T-shirt.

The truck he was driving is thought to be a 2016 Dodge Ram, Cummins edition, with four doors, police said. The truck has chrome mirrors, door handles and rims.
