The ‘Bleacher Preacher’ Will Be at Game 3 of World Series Thanks to Wheaton Company
Jerry Pritikin, author of "The Ten Cub-Mandments," was offered tickets from Gilbert's Craft Sausages.

CHICAGO, IL - Jerry Pritikin, an original Wrigley Field Bleacher Bum known as the “Bleacher Preacher” and “the world’s greatest Cubs fan” according to Harry Caray, will be among the lucky ones to witness a World Series game at Wrigley Field when the series makes its way to the North Side on Friday.
Pritikin, who is almost 80, was given tickets to Game 3 of the series by Gilbert’s Craft Sausages, a Wheaton-based company and the official Chicken Sausage of the Cubs and Wrigley Field this year.
Pritkin is known to Wrigley Field faithful as the one with the “Ten-Cub-Mandments,” and is often seen around the friendly confines trying to “convert” fans of the opposing team.

“Thou shall not take the name of Ernie Banks in vain” and “Remember the Trinity of Tinker to Evers to Chance” are some of the more memorable rules to go by.
Pritkin’s lifelong dream was to go to the World Series, and when Gilbert’s learned of his story, they immediately jumped in with the offer.

“As a lifelong Cubs fan, I remember sitting in the bleachers as a kid and watching the Bleacher Preacher cheer on Ryne Sandberg and Andre Dawson,” says Chris Salm, Gilbert’s founder and CEO. “When I learned of Pritikin’s story, I knew we had to help him be a part of this season.”
