From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 21, Wheaton Police encourage the community to visit the Wheaton Police Department at 900 W. Liberty Drive and help stuff a squad car full of household/cleaning/personal care items needed by the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans. Contactless donations can be placed directly into the squad and all CDC COVID-19 guidelines will be followed.

“When we started this program in May, we were looking to find a way to help take care of our community, and we invited others to join us,” said Community Engagement Officer Crystal Miroballi. “The Wheaton community’s response has been overwhelmingly generous, and we look forward to partnering with residents again to help veterans in need of assistance.”
