Camps Available for Kids at Cosley Zoo This Summer
The camps feature live animal encounters, discovery activities, games, and more.

Registration is now open for a variety of summer camps available this summer at the Cosley Zoo that will allow kids to get up close to a variety of animals at the zoo.
All of the camps run from 8:45 go 11:45 a.m. daily and involve games, activities, and live animal interactions. Registration is available online.

Farmyard Fun (June 20 to June 24): It’s time to spend some time on the farm! Discover animals that call the farm home, including cows, pigs, chickens, and more!
Things with Wings (June 27 to July 1): Birds, bats, and bugs all have wings, but do they all use their wings for the same things? Spend a week with us as we learn about fabulous winged creatures.

Animal Tales (July 18 to July 22): There are many wonderful tales about animals. Each day focuses on a favorite animal story with campers creating their very own animal tale throughout the week.
Backyard Buddies (Aug. 1 to Aug. 5) From bugs and owls to salamanders and turtles, come investigate the animals that live in our backyards. There are a lot of interesting animals right under our noses!
Here is a look at camps available for children 8 years old and older:
Creature Features (July 11 to July 15 for children ages 8 to 11 years old): Spend the week at the zoo discovering unique and useful features animals have that help them to survive. Animals truly are amazing!
Zookeeper Camp (July 25 to July 29 for ages 12 to 15 years old): Ever wondered what a zookeeper does? Join us for a week and participate in some keeper duties–clean a stall, feed an animal or two and much more.
