Cantigny Park To Begin Phased Reopening June 1
The grounds and gardens will reopen, but many on-site buildings will remain closed.

WHEATON, IL — Cantigny Park is set to reopen its doors June 1. The park will begin with a phased reopening that permits Cantigny Park and Honor Club members first with visitors being capped daily "at appropriate levels," according to an email from park officials. The park plans to open to the public in early summer.
To start out, only the Cantigny Park grounds and gardens will reopen. The Visitors' Center, McCormick House and the First Division Museum will remain closed until a later date. Park officials added that the playground and Army tanks will be closed and food and beverages will not be available at first.

Visitors will be required to wear a face mask when using park restrooms. Cantigny officials added that social distancing guidelines will be enforced.
Cantigny staff is prepping for the reopening by "implementing heightened cleaning and disinfecting procedures," according to park officials.
