Cantigny Park Offers Virtual Veterans Day Programs
The park's First Division Museum is offering several ways to commemorate the holiday and honor veterans.

WHEATON, IL — Cantigny Park's First Division Museum has planned a number of virtual offerings to commemorate Veterans Day. The events include live presentations and hands-on activities that families can make at home.
What: They Served: Stories from Veterans
When: Nov. 11 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Where: Live presentation via Zoom

What: Veteran Mail Call
Details: Write a "thank you" note to send to veterans. First Division Museum will receive the notes and send them to One Savvy Veteran, Honor Flight Chicago, American Legion Cantigny Post 556 and local college veteran associations.

What: Take-and-Make Flag Craft
When: Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Where: Supply pickup in Cantigny Parking Lot 5
Details: Families are invited to come get free supplies to make a "thank you" flag for veterans. Supplies are limited.
