Cars Burglarized, Parts Stolen: Wheaton Crime Blotter
Wheaton police responded to two car burglaries and two catalytic converter thefts within less than a week.

WHEATON, IL — Wheaton police are investigating multiple reports of car burglaries and stolen catalytic converters that took place in late March and early April. The following items were taken from the Wheaton Police Department's most recent crime blotter.
Theft in 900 block of College Avenue
Police say someone cut a catalytic converter from a car while it was parked in a lot sometime between 6 p.m. March 30 and 9:55 a.m. March 31.

Car Burglary in 100 block of South President Street
Residents told police that "miscellaneous items" were stolen from their car while it was parked in a driveway. The incident took place sometime between 8 p.m. March 30 and 7 p.m. March 31. Police say the car had been left unlocked.

Theft in 900 block of College Avenue
Sometime between March 30 and April 2, a catalytic converter was cut and removed from a Toyota Prius parked in a lot.
Car Burglary in 1300 block of South Lorraine Road
Police say an unlocked car in the lot was burglarized and a credit card was stolen. The incident took place sometime between March 31 and April 2.
