WHEATON, IL — Wheaton police are investigating a car burglary and one car theft that took place the week of March 8, according to a recent crime blotter. The weekly police blotter also includes reports of slashed tires and a retail theft at Jewel-Osco.
Car Theft at Wheaton Center
Police say a silver/gold Honda Accord was stolen from the parking lot sometime between March and March 12.

Car Burglary in 1900 block of Legends Drive
A car window was smashed on March 13 while the car was parked in a driveway in the 1900 block of Legends Drive. A garage door opener was reported stolen.

Criminal Damage to Property in 1000 Block of College Avenue
Four tires were slashed on a car while it was parked in a lot in the 1000 block of College Avenue. The incident took place sometime between 8 p.m. March 10 and 8:30 a.m. March 11.
Retail Theft at Jewel, 30 Danada Sq. W.
Police say a woman came to the Jewel store on March 10 around 1:22 p.m., filled a cart with items and left without paying.
