Downed Wire Stalls Traffic On Route 59 In Warrenville

WARRENVILLE, IL --- A downed wire closed traffic on Route 59 in both directions Monday after blizzard conditions left roads unsafe. City officials said in a post on social media that the road was closed between Joliet Street and Mack Road.

Traffic was being rerouted and ComEd had been notified as of 9:30 a.m., officials said. They stressed that response time might be delayed due to several outages throughout the area.
