Drunk Driver Hits 2 DuPage Sheriff Squad Cars: Police
Police say the driver of a Camaro hit the cars while going at "an excessive speed."

DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — A driver is in custody after he plowed into two DuPage County sheriff's squad cars Friday night, police say. The crash took place near the intersection of Route 83 and the southbound ramp to I-55 around 7 p.m.
In a post on social media, DuPage County Sheriff's police say they were at the scene of a different crash when a Chevy Camaro going at "an excessive speed" hit the rear of the first squad car. The impact caused the squad car to hit another squad car, which the Camaro then crashed into, according to police.
No officers were injured in the crash. The driver was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence.
