DuPage Animal Control Gets Vehicle With Surgical Suite

The vehicle includes a surgical suite, a grooming center, and a dental suite for rescues.

DuPage County’s Animal Control Department can now provide state-of-the-art care to sick animals thanks to its newly revealed special veterinary vehicle. The new vehicle will include a surgical suite, an X–ray machine, a grooming facility, and more.

The special vehicle was made possible because of a donation facilitated by Amanda Yancey from Policy to DuPage Animal Friends and Brooks McCormick Jr. Trust for Animal Right, according to a press release.

DuPage County Animal Services Committee Chairman Brian Krajewski called the new vehicle a “game-changer” and said the new car will “provide medical assistance via emergency disaster response and mobilize our humane education and adoption efforts.”
