Extract Juicery Eager To Share 'Passion' For Health With Wheaton
"We're happy to be in Wheaton; we feel so much love," Extract Juicery's owner Kevin Walker told Patch.

WHEATON, IL — Six years ago, Kevin Walker did a juice cleanse, and to say he went "all in" would be an understatement. After a few days, Walker noticed some positive changes, so he stuck with the juice cleanse for a year and ultimately funneled his passion for juicing into a new Wheaton juice bar called Extract Juicery.
Set to host its grand opening March 18 through 20, Extract Juicery will set up shop at 114 N. Main St. in downtown Wheaton. The juice bar, which had a soft opening Feb. 4, specializes in cold-pressed juices that are made to order with organic ingredients that are sourced locally as often as possible. Walker told Patch this sets Extract Juicery apart from other juice bars that use centrifugal juicers, which warms the juice and causes nutrients to deplete.
Extract Juicery's menu dazzles with a colorful spread of juices and smoothies. Each listing includes an outline of the juice's intended benefits and recommends healthful add-ons.

Extract Juicery also offers such health-conscious eats as acai bowls, chocolate almond butter toast, mango chia pudding and salads diners can pile high with fresh greens, fruit, hemp seeds and agave nectar.
“People are understanding the importance of what you put in your body," Walker told Patch, adding that he is eager "to share [his] passion with the Wheaton community.”
Walker said Wheaton was an easy choice for Extract Juicery because it's a "health-conscious community." He added, "everyone has been so welcoming to us.”
Walker told Patch he is eager to give back to the community that has been so welcoming to him and his business. As a result, Extract Juicery offers a fundraising program for:
- K-12 schools
- Athletic boosters
- Churches
- Libraries
- Youth groups
- University groups
Eligible organizations can pick a day and Extract Juicery will donate 20 percent of its profits to the cause. The juice bar will also help out with flyers and social media posts.
"[We] want to give back to the community who have given to us and have helped us,” Walker told Patch.
