Featured Adoptable A.R.F Pet of the Week – Dolly

Are you looking for a new four-legged best friend? A.R.F.-Animal Rescue foundation has many cats and dogs available for adoption. We're based in Wheaton, IL and perform pet adoptions in DuPage County.

Dolly is a 9 year old poodle mix who weight about 8 pounds. She’s had a tough few months, coming to A.R.F. all the way from Kentucky after her previous owner passed away. Once with her foster Family, Dolly went through a full health and grooming check. She’s had a few masses and teeth removed, along with a fixed patella, so she’s now getting along a bit better than when she first arrived.

Dolly’s the kind of girl who needs a little time to get to you know you and build trust. Once she knows you’re okay, she’s happy to cuddle up by your side. Dolly would do best in a quiet home where she’s the only pet in the family. She’s currently living with a few other dogs and gets protective of her parents around the dogs or visiting children.
