Garage Burglarized, Car Egged In Wheaton: Police

Wheaton's crime blotter for the week of May 10 includes a garage burglary, criminal damage to property, retail theft and other incidents.

WHEATON, IL — A resident's garage was burglarized, eggs were thrown at a car at Northside Park and other incidents were reported in the Wheaton Police Department's crime blotter for the second week of May.

The following incidents were reported to Wheaton police between May 10 and May 16:

Garage Burglarized In 1100 Block Of Hertford Court

A resident told police that someone pried open the service door to their garage. The incident took place sometime between 7 p.m. on May 12 and 7:30 a.m. on May 13.

Car Egged At Northside Park, 1300 N. West St.

Police say someone threw eggs at a car as it was leaving Northside Park around 10 p.m. on May 14. The eggs damaged the car's paint, according to the weekly crime blotter.

Bike Stolen From Washington School, 911 Bridle Ln.

An unlocked bike was stolen from the grounds of Washington School on May 13. The incident took place sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m., police say.

Car Damaged In 1000 Block Of South Lorraine Road

Police say a car's driver's side window was shattered sometime between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. on May 9.

Cologne Stolen From Ulta Beauty, 112 Danada Square West

A man took several bottles of cologne from Ulta Beauty without paying. The incident was reported just after 6:30 p.m. on May 10.
