Great Midwest Train Show Rolls Through DuPage County Fairgrounds
The event will feature Lego displays, working model trains, and hundreds of tables of trains and accessories.

WHEATON, IL -- Hundreds of model trains will chug across tiny landscapes Sunday for the annual Great Midwest Train Show at DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton. The day-long train show is a favorite of model train collectors and enthusiasts throughout the country and features interactive demonstrations and model trains that kids can learn how to operate.
More than 500 tables of model trains, parts, and accessories are expected to fill five buildings throughout the fairgrounds for this highly anticipated event. Collectors will have a chance to pick up rare trains and other hard-to-find items, event organizers say.
Exhibitors from across the U.S. will have their own model trains on display and will conduct educational workshops for adults and kids alike. A Lego train display will also be featured at the event.
