Hot Tub Fire Damages Wheaton Home

WHEATON, IL — A hot tub fire damaged a Wheaton home Saturday evening.

The fire broke out just before 6 p.m. in the 25W600 block of Red Maple Lane, according to a news release from Warrenville Fire Protection District. Fire crews got to the scene to find smoke and fire on the home's back deck, with flames spreading to the outside of the house.

Firefighters were able to put out the fire quickly and keep it contained to the home's exterior. No one was injured in the blaze. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
