The Little Popcorn Store Kicks Off 100th Anniversary Celebration
The anniversary festivities kick off on Jan. 19 for National Popcorn Day.

WHEATON, IL — The Little Popcorn Store is turning 100 and plans to start its year-long celebration on Jan. 19, National Popcorn Day, according to Daily Herald.
The celebration will begin with a free small bag of popcorn for the first 100 customers. The store plans to continue celebrating throughout the year with monthly drawings and commemorative items for sale.
The Little Popcorn Store opened in 1921 a few doors away from its current location at 111 1/4 Front Street. Measuring 60 feet long and just 49 inches wide, the store has become one of the most beloved landmarks in Wheaton.
