Main Street Resurfacing To Cause Delays In Wheaton
Commuters are advised to take alternate routes on Friday.

WHEATON, IL — Commuters can expect delays near downtown Wheaton Friday as the city's Main Street resurfacing project moves into its final stages. Crews will be laying asphalt on a stretch of Main Street between Seminary and Cole, so city officials are advising residents to take alternate routes if possible.
Once this section of asphalt is in place, construction workers will return in two weeks to lay the final surface along Main Street, according to a news release.
The Main Street resurfacing is part of Wheaton's Streetscape Project, which includes utility upgrades, sidewalk widening, and a new Martin Memorial Plaza.
