Bubble Bash 2016 at the DuPage Children’s Museum
There will be a steel drum band and a countdown to noon. From the DuPage Children's Museum website: "Ahoy! Gather your guppies and look below the shore – there’s an entire world to explore! Fish kites, sand painting, turtle shell weaving, and more. Dive into an Under The Sea voyage by walking through our big red door."

Ringin' in the New Year - Downtown and at the Carillon
There will be two countdowns at the base of the Carillon at Rotary Hill. One for 6:00 p.m. and another for midnight. From the downtown Naperville website: "12:30pm – 2pm: Check-in first at Southern Tide (120 Water Street, next to Hotel Indigo) to receive a bag (KIDS ONLY 12 & under receive bag), map and game card (for the adults; One per person; MUST be present to receive). 1-4pm: Wander around select stores and (KIDS 12 & Under ONLY) will receive a fun goodie (WHILE SUPPLIES LAST)! There will also be Game Cards for adults and kids to find lucky numbers in various store windows downtown (if your card matches the number, you win a prize valued at $100). A Face Painter and Glitter Tattoo Artist will also be on hand....There will be an early evening (6PM) countdown to ring in 2017 hosted by the Naperville Park District, with Councilman John Krummen. (Free Hot Chocolate awaits you at the Riverwalk Eatery) and balloon artists too. There will also be a midnight (12MIDNIGHT) countdown to ring in 2017 too complete with tunes from the Carillon!"

From the Fox Valley Park District website: "Party-goers can bounce in inflatables, play games, participate in fitness demos and dance to the latest music with a DJ spinning tunes. Returning are the active toddler zone area and the prize wheel for all ages. There will be a countdown and balloon drop at noon. Pre-registration by noon on Dec. 30 includes admission, party favors, and a snack. Day-of registration is an additional $3, and party favors and snacks are not available. Admittance to the field house during the event requires a wristband."
