WHEATON, IL — The number of coronavirus cases in Wheaton increased by 40 cases in the past six days. For Wheaton, this is notably less than the previous week, which saw 72 new coronavirus cases.
As of April 28, there had been 4,466 coronavirus cases reported in Wheaton. The total number of cases reported in Wheaton as of May 4 was 4,506. This reflects an overall increase of just under .9 percent. The previous week's increase was 1.6 percent.

On April 28, the village had reported 3,125 total cases of the new coronavirus. Those numbers had increased to 3,153 as of May 4, reflecting an overall increase of less than .9 percent. The previous week's increase was 1.2 percent.
In Glen Ellyn, there have been 219 probable coronavirus cases. Including probable cases, the total coronavirus case count for Glen Ellyn is at 3,372.
