According to DuPage County Health Department statistics, the past two weeks have seen a 42 percent increase in daily coronavirus cases throughout the county.
Ayala continued, “We are very grateful for everyone’s continued commitment to vaccinating eligible residents as quickly and equitably as possible. While we have made great progress, many more residents remain to be vaccinated. Until then, it remains critical for all of us, including those who are fully vaccinated, to continue to protect ourselves and others by wearing a mask, watching our distance, avoiding large in-person gatherings, and washing our hands frequently.”
