Police Investigate Glen Ellyn Wooded Area Saturday
An officer found a space in Panfish Park Saturday that appeared to contain recent pedestrian activity. There is a large police presence there, please avoid the area.

A large number of police on Saturday were in the middle of an investigation at Panfish Park in Glen Ellyn, officials said.
Few details are available at this time, but a Glen Ellyn officer found a space where there appeared to be recent pedestrian activity at the park, located at 620 Wilson Ave. Please avoid the area until further notice.
"This can be a tedious process that must be approached with care," said a Saturday afternoon press release. "This effort has created a significant police presence in the area."

Glen Ellyn police on Saturday began patrolling parks and wooded areas in response to a recent case involving a missing person in another jurisdiction.
The release did not provide any other information about the case. Police were not immediately available Saturday afternoon to provide further information.
