Registration begins for Serve City Volleyball girls short season
Girls in grades 6-8 are invited to join the Wheaton 13U or 14U short-season middle-school club teams that play from March 4 to May 11
The Serve City middle-school girls volleyball short-season program is ideal for sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade girls who either are new to club volleyball, don't have time to commit to a full club season, play other sports in addition to volleyball or only want to participate in a short-term season.

The Serve City short season offers quality coaching, player skill development, valuable tournament experience, an exciting team environment and Serve City's unique mix of excellence, relationships and love for the game.

The season starts on Monday, March 4 and concludes on Saturday, May 11.
Players ages 11 to 14 are eligible if born between Aug. 31, 2008 and Sept. 1, 2005. The age level of the two teams is 13 and under and 14 and under.

The cost is $400, which includes volleyball insurance and a T-shirt uniform top.
Practices are Mondays from 5-7 p.m. and Tuesdays from 4:30-6:30 p.m. for one team and Tuesdays from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. for the other team. The practice locations are Mondays at Community Fellowship Church, 28W240 North Ave. in West Chicago, and Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Vineyard Church of DuPage, 1900 Manchester Road in Wheaton.
Teams will not practice March 25-31 over spring break. They will compete in three Saturday tournaments, all in the Chicago area.
