Road Closures For Wheaton's Fourth Of July Festivities
Here's a look at how traffic will be impacted by Fourth of July in Wheaton.

WHEATON, IL — Wheaton's annual Independence Day Celebration will impact traffic throughout the city due to road closures on July 3 and July 4. Motorists are advised to pay attention to detour signs and to watch out for pedestrians during this time.
The city's Fourth of July Fireworks show kicks off with outdoor activities on July 3 at 5 p.m. in Graf Park. The fireworks display is scheduled for 9 p.m. and the event is expected to wrap up aroujnd 10 p.m.
Traffic will likely be increased at the following locations on July 3, according to city officials:

- North County Farm Road between West Roosevelt Road and Geneva Road
- Manchester Road between East Street and North Gables Boulevard
- Side streets in neighborhoods close to DuPage County Fairgrounds
On July 4, the Wheaton Fourth of July Parade will cause road closures from around 10 a.m. until around 12 p.m. The following roads will be closed to accommodate the parade:
- North Main Street between Geneva Road and Wesley Street
- Union Avenue between North Main Street and Wheaton Avenue
- Wheaton Avenue between Wesley Street and Union Avenue
- East Parkway Drive and East Hawthorne Boulevard will also be affected by closures during the parade
