WHEATON, IL — Schmaltz Delicatessen Express, one of Wheaton's newest restaurants, opened for business Tuesday at 390 W. Front St. The delicatessen is offering curbside pickup and delivery orders during the new coronavirus shutdown.

The deli's extensive menu features bagels, sandwiches, soups, all-beef hot dogs and more. The sandwich selection includes such highlights as a stuffed grilled cheese, the Wall Street —corned beef on Jewish rye with mustard— and the Acme —lox, capers, tomato and cream cheese on a bagel.

Customers who are craving a hot dog can choose between a plain hot dog, a Chicago-style dog (complete with sport peppers, celery salt and tomatoes) or a New York Deli-style dog, which comes piled with sauerkraut and drizzled with spicy deli mustard.
