When and how did your business get started?

I started my private practice in Wheaton after 25 years of practice in agencies, child welfare and the schools. I opened the office in June of 2013.

What is your business best known for?

My focus is youth and families. I have been seeing a lot of youth with anxiety that manifests itself in school problems, irritability, withdrawal and physical pains.

I am a preferred provider for Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Cigna.

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?

Therapy is clouded in a lot of stereotypes and assumptions. I offer a free phone consultation to discuss the "fit" between a potential client's issues and my interventions.

Why did you choose the town you did to open your business?  

Wheaton is a community I am familiar with and want to continue to be a part of.
