POLICE: Teens Tried to Lure Boy With Candy in Danada Area

Wheaton police are in search of two people who offered a boy candy on April 16 in the Danada area, according to a press release.
One male driver and one female passenger, both appearing to be teenagers, were in a suspicious vehicle when they approached the young male and offered candy. The incident occurred at about 3:31 p.m. in the area of Danada Drive and Naperville Road, police said.
No license plate is available at this time for the vehicle, which was either a dark or light-colored older Oldsmobile. Further details about the male and female, including their descriptions, were also not available.

"Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to call Investigative Commander James Volpe at 630-260-2055," the release said.
