Thousands Of American Flags To Fly On 'Field Of Honor' In Wheaton
The Field of Honor display will feature 2,000 flags dedicated to military veterans and service members, first responders and other heroes.
WHEATON, IL — Thousands of American flags will unfurl at Seven Gables Park in Wheaton this summer for the 2021 Field of Honor display. Each of the display's 2,000 American flags will honor a military veteran or active service member, fallen military member, first responder or other local hero.
The 2021 Field of Honor display is free to view and will run from June 30 through July 4 at Seven Gables Park, 1750 S. Naperville Rd., Wheaton.
Residents can make donations to support the Field of Honor or can buy a flag to dedicate to their own personal heroes or lost loved ones. The flags, which start at $25, can be personalized with an "in memoriam" or dedication.

The Field of Honor is hosted by the Wheaton Park District and Warrenville VFW Post 8081. Proceeds benefit Warrenville American Legion Posts 8081 and 589.
