Two Brothers Brewing Crafts Pale Ale For Aurelio's Anniversary
The limited edition Aurelio's 59th Anniversary Pale Ale will be available starting August 20.

WARRENVILLE, IL — Aurelio's, the oldest family-owned pizza joint in the Chicago area, is celebrating its 59th anniversary with a new beer crafted by another local legend, Two Brothers Artisan Brewing. The pale ale is the brainchild of a collaboration between Aurelio's and Two Brothers and will be available for a limited time starting August 20.
In a press release, Aurelio's President Joe Aurelio said it "made sense" to tap Two Brothers for the special anniversary beer because the pizzeria wanted to work with a brewery close to its Chicago roots.
Two Brothers head brewer Alex Makowski said in a statement that the brewery was excited to offer something new to the fans it shares with Aurelio's. Made with American pale malt, Viennese malt, and Munich malt, Aurelio's 59th Anniversary Pale Ale "delivers big aroma and flavor notes of tropical and stone fruit," Makowski said.

Both Aurelio and Makowski touted the 5.4% ABV anniversary ale as something that would pair well with a slice — or several — of Aurelio's pizza.
