Water Main Replacement May Cause Delays On Manchester Road
The construction will start Sept. 7 and is expected to end in late October.
WHEATON, IL — Crews will begin work replacing the Manchester Road water main on Sept. 7, according to Wheaton city officials. The project will not involve any detours, but may involve temporary lane restrictions that will cause traffic delays.
The scope of the project involves removing and replacing segments of the current water main and shifting service to the new Manchester Road water main between Hazelton and County Farm Road.
Wheaton officials say residents will get advance notice if their water needs to be shut off at any time during the duration of the construction. The project is expected to last until late October.
