WHEATON, IL — The Wheaton holiday parade has been canceled due to coronavirus, but the Downtown Wheaton Association (DWA) has planned a host of events and activities to keep the holiday season festive.
“While we know this is a long-held tradition, the Downtown Wheaton Association (DWA) along with the City of Wheaton have spent countless hours exploring ways to reimagine the holiday season in downtown Wheaton”, Elle Withall, Executive Director of the DWA, said in a news release.
One of the new attractions will be "A Night of Lights" in Adams Park, which runs from Nov. 20 through Jan. 10 and will illuminate Adams Park with festive lights. Other fun activities include a Santa's Elves scavenger hunt at local businesses.
