Wheaton Art Walk To Temporarily Close Parts Of Two City Streets
Portions of Hale Street and Karlskoga Avenue will be closed to traffic starting at 6 p.m. Friday and will remained closed for the weekend.
WHEATON, IL — Two Wheaton streets will be closed this weekend as the city hosts its annual Art Walk event on Saturday and Sunday.
The two streets, Hale Street — between Wesley Avenue and Seminary Avenue – and Karlskoga Avenue – between Wheaton Avenue and Hale Street — will temporarily close beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, city officials announced.
Motorists may experience temporary traffic delays and should choose to alter their travel plans to avoid these areas. The streets will not be open to parking beginning Friday to allow for organizers to set up for the event.

The Wheaton Art Walk will take place from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and is scheduled to include 70 artists. The event is free.
